The Homeless Society.
I have chosen this idea because it is something I can adapt upon. I have done more research towards this idea, I decided to look at some documentaries so I could understand how homeless people actually lived and how there lives are, whilst watching them I understood a lot more and many habits that can occur when living on the streets.

Also on Youtube many short films and documentaries been made about peoples opinions on the homeless society this also shows that people dont understand how people get into the situation they are in and how it has effected them. This is why I feel that this idea can work as a play because it makes it aware to the people that are watching and its also an issue that isn't brought up alot.

Also looking at news stories also gives me facts about the statistics and more information on the whole situation.
I have decided to focus on 'teenagers being homeless' because a lot of things can happen in their lives and can make them rebel and end up walking out, by focusing on this big issue it may make teenagers realise what sort of situation that can end up in. Also it can relate to the target audience of young adults and its not a usual text you would listen to.

Radio Play Ideas
Idea 1
The homeless society
Reasearch :
I went on google to search the lives about homeless people, i came across a website that had peoples stories on how they manage to become homeless and there live since.
http://www.homeless.org.au/people/rebecca.htm this link shows all types of peoples stories which has helped me gain more knowledge on this society and how you can eaisly lead into this situation.
Idea 2
Letters
I liked the idea of a romance radio text and to make it based around letters this is because i have watched many films that are asociated with this theme and i feel that it can make a story have more emotion to it.
Reaseach:
I researched a few films that are based around a letter theme, this includes Dear John, The Notebook and Letters to Juliet.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0989757/ this link is to a website that provides a summary of each of these films, by using this link it has enabled me to look at all the different plots and have several ideas on what I would like to base my idea on.
I also come up with the idea of lose within the letter theme, through this I wanted to base it through a terrorist attack. I then research the London bombings and I didnt want to use an obvious idea and use the 9/11 attacks.

Physiological illness : Bipolar disorder
This idea came from the storyline in Eastenders when Stacy Slater inherited her mothers disorder of bipolar from this I researched the disorder itself to understand it more and how it can affect a person. http://bipolar.about.com/cs/bpbasics/a/0210_whatisbp.htm this helped me adapt my idea much more and think of more ideas to base this around.
Idea 4
The suicide pact
This idea came from a BBC news artical on thier website, I read the story about the woman that used the internet as a source to find someone else to commit sucide with her.
I thought that using a diary theme and using the genre of a psychological thriller could make thr story more personal which make the audience understand it more, but more gipping with the genre it will fall under. With the diary theme I just want the women talking whih means it will be in first person.
The structure will be fluent and will go from start middle end, but the end will be the new report of thier death so the audience can understand what has happend and that it is real.
